David F. Blank, 61, of 624 Peters Road, Gordonville, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at home. Born in Salisbury Twp., he was the son of Katie B. Fisher Blank of Kinzers and the late Jacob K. Blank. He was married to Mary Smucker Blank. Mr. Blank was a warehouse worker at Cardinal Building Products and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are: a son, Ivan Jay Blank, at home; a daughter, Freida wife of Amos K. Glick, Lancaster; eight grandchildren; eight sisters, Fannie wife of Benuel Fisher, Strasburg, Lizzie wife of Aaron Lapp, New Holland, Mary wife of David Glick, Mount Joy, Ruth wife of Kore Stoltzfus, Ronks, Katie wife of Eli Lapp, Ronks, Barbara wife of Earl Stoltzfus, Gap, Anna wife of Daniel Kauffman, Honey Brook, Sadie wife of Elam King, Hershey; four brothers, Jacob husband of Rebecca Lapp Blank, Ronks, Amos husband of Edna Fisher Blank, Strasburg, John husband of Mary Stoltzfus Blank, Kinzers, Samuel husband of Beth T. Blank, Philippines.
The funeral will be held at the Ike Lantz residence, 268 Hollow Road, Gordonville on Friday, November 8, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Interment in Dry Hill Cemetery, Gordonville. Friends may call at the late home from the time of this notice till the service. Kindly omit flowers.
