David P. Lantz, 83, of 865 Musser School Rd., Gordonville, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at his home. Born in Gordonville, he was the son of the late Benjamin G. and Annie King Lantz. He was the husband of Emma Miller Lantz. A farmer, David was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by: 6 children, Anna M. married to Daniel E. King, Lancaster, Benjamin G. married to Anna E. Blank Lantz, Kinzers, Emanuel M. married to Rachel Stoltzfus Lantz, Gordonville, Rebecca M. married to Isaac D. King, Lancaster, John M. married to Rachel Allgyer Lantz, Leola, Ruth M. married to Melvin B. King, Narvon; son-in-law, B. John married to Lillian Zook Beiler, Leola; 49 grandchildren; 68 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: a daughter, Elizabeth M. Beiler; a daughter-in-law, Sylvia Beiler Lantz; a sister, Rebecca Esh.
Funeral services will be from the late home on Monday, March 25, 2024 at 10 am EST with interment following in Myer’s Cemetery. The viewing will be at the late home from the time of this notice till the service.
