David S. Zook, Jr., 77, of 150 Amsterdam Rd., New Holland, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at his home. Born in New Holland, he was the son of the late David and Rebecca Stoltzfus Zook. He was the husband of Elizabeth Esh Zook. David was self-employed and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by: 5 children, Henry married to Sarah Fisher Zook, Rebecca wife of Ephraim Riehl, David married to Emma Fisher Zook, all of Fort Plain, NY, Levi married to Barbie Lapp Zook, Abner married to Sarah King Zook, both of New Holland; 41 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Sadie Stoltzfus Zook; sister, Fannie Stoltzfus Fisher, Quarryville; sister-in-law, Fannie Swarey Stoltzfoos, Leola. He was preceded in death by: a son, Daniel Zook; sister, Mary Zook Stoltzfus, a brother, Levi Zook husband of the late Annie Zook King.
Funeral services will be from the late home on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 11 am with interment following in Stoltzfus Cemetery. The viewing will be at the late home from the time of this notice till the service.
