Dean R. Rankin, 58, of Lancaster, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013 after a brief illness. He was the son of the late Pierce and Evelyn Saner Rankin. A tow motor operator for Dart Container, Leola, Mr. Rankin enjoyed golf and baseball.
He will be greatly missed by: his brothers, Gerald husband of Shirley Rankin, Lititz, C. Robert husband of Bonita Rankin, Amelia, OH; his sister, Joyce wife of Keith Bechtold, Willow Street; two nephews; five nieces; and several great-nephews and nieces.
The memorial service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013 at Furman Home for Funerals, 59 W. Main St., Leola with greeting time from 10:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. Private interment at the convenience of the family.
