Debra Lee Dagen, 56, of Paradise, passed away Thursday, Mar. 7, 2013 surrounded by her family after a long, courageous struggle with illness. She was married to Jeffrey W. Dagen for 34 wonderful years. She worked as a scrub tech, and OBGYN nurse for the Community Hospital of Lancaster. She brought so much joy to those around her and helped usher in so many new lives into the world. Her first and foremost love was taking care of others and loving her family. She was a nurturing and kind wife, astounding mother, who always put her children first. She was the rock of the Dagen family, even when she was at her weakest. Words cannot describe how she will be missed, but her love and life will go on through her children and grandchildren, little Clara Tucker and soon-to-be George in May. Debra is survived by her husband, Jeffrey; her children, Jessica A. Dagen of Paradise, Jason J., husband of Callie Dagen of Leola and Jamie L. Dagen of Paradise. The Memorial Service is 2 p.m. Wednesday, Mar. 13, 2013 at the Furman Home of Funerals, 59 W. Main St., Leola. Greeting time with the family: Noon – 2 p.m. Wednesday. Kindly omit flowers.
