Della Stoltzfus, age 100, went to be with her Lord on May 2, 2024. She was born to the late Jacob S. and Rebecca K. Stoltzfus, and was married to the late Emanuel Stoltzfus.
She is survived by: her two children, Gloria (Carl) Martin, Ephrata, and Jerry (Judy) Stoltzfus, Goshen, Indiana; four grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Surviving siblings are: Ezra L. Stoltzfus (Elizabeth), Violet Sollenberger (Clyde-deceased) and Anna Weaver (Glenn-deceased). She was predeceased by: a sister, Gladys (Melvin) Sweigart; and two brothers, Norman J. Stoltzfus (Betty) and Roy A. Stoltzfus.
She was a homemaker most of her life, but worked at Good and Plenty as a cook for twenty years prior to her retirement. She enjoyed embroidering and crocheting, and jigsaw puzzles and playing Rummikube in her later years. She was a longtime member of Conestoga Mennonite Church in Morgantown.
A viewing will be held Friday, May 10, 2024 at Conestoga Mennonite Church, 2779 Main Street, Morgantown, PA from 10am-11am prior to the service. Services will begin at 11am conducted by Pastor Jeremiah Martin, followed by internment in the church cemetery.
