Dennis Hartranft, 64, of Lancaster, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 13, 2013. He was the husband of Linda (Lowe) Hartranft. They were married for 42 years in August. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Robert and Evelyn Good Hartranft.
Dennis was a dispatcher and more recently a fleet safety manager for the Zook Molasses Co., Honey Brook, PA. He was a member of the Mount Calvary Lutheran Church.
In addition to his wife, he will be missed by: his children, Teresa Boas, Scottsdale, AZ, Timothy married to Elena Hartranft, Columbia, MD, Jarrad Hartranft, Lancaster; two precious grandchildren, Courtney and Kaylie; two siblings, Douglas married to Suzzette Hartranft, Deborah married to Kim Hackman, both Ephrata.
The memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013 at the Furman Home for Funerals, 59 W. Main St. Leola, PA. Greeting time with family: 10-11 a.m. Kindly omit flowers. Memorial contributions are welcomed to Hospice & Community Care, PO Box 4125, Lancaster PA 17604-4125.
