     Donald M. Robinson, 87, of Lancaster, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2026, after a 12-year battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Born in Drexel Hill, he was the son of the late Donald M. and Gertrude Miller Robinson. He was the husband of the late Evelyn Gustavsen Robinson.

     Donald served as an officer in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a graduate of Penn State University and earned a masters degree at Millersville University. He was an agriculture educator and taught at Pottstown School District and retired from Garden Spot School District. Donald was the Director of the Lancaster County Conservation District and a board member of the Lancaster Farmland Trust. He was helpful in the establishment of the Leola Produce Auction. He was a member of the Worship Center and attended Lancaster Evangelical Free Church.

     Donald is survived by: children, Donna L. Robinson of Lancaster, Daniel K. married to June R. Robinson of Brownstown, David B. married to Sherilyn A. Robinson of Mount Joy, Kathleen J. married to Peter Merlo, Linda K. married to Brian Lownsbery, both of Elizabethtown, Kimberly S. married to Chris Williams of Warrenton, VA, Charles J. Robinson of Columbia, Melody A. Robinson of Tyrone, PA; 23 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, W. Ken Robinson of Lancaster and Phillip married to Nancy Robinson of Westtown, PA.

     The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Lancaster and Lititz House at Landis Homes.

     The funeral will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Lancaster Evangelical Free Church 419 Pierson Road, Lititz, PA at 11:00 am. The family will greet friends from 10-11:00 am on Saturday at the church. Interment will be in Bethany Mennonite Chapel Cemetery, Martindale.
