Dorothy E. Cammauf, 102, of Pleasant View Retirement Community, formerly of Leola, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013. Born in Gap, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Anna Elmer Axe. She was the wife of the late Herbert F. Acker who died in 1968 and of the late Harry F. Cammauf who died in 1992. Dorothy worked as a supervisor at Singing Needles for twenty years prior to retiring in 1976. She was a member of Leola United Methodist Church and a former Leola Fire Co. Auxiliary member and a charter member of Gap VFW. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She will be lovingly missed by cousins. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Mar. 9, 2013 at Furman Home for Funerals, 59 W. Main St., Leola, PA with viewing from 9-10 a.m. Interment: Pequea E. C. Cemetery, White Horse, PA.
