Dorothy M. “Gram" Mullen, 88, of Gap, passed to her heavenly home peacefully with her loving daughter by her side on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy. Born in Salisbury Twp., she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Rachel Martin Gill. She was the wife of the late John K. Mullen, Sr.
She was a seamstress for the former Patti-Tone Sewing Factory in Gap. She was also a member of the Atglen Missionary Baptist Church.
Surviving are: a daughter, Judy Colon of Gap; a granddaughter, Lisa wife of Robert Gillenwater; 2 grandsons, Troy V. Grumelli and John V. husband of Sheila Mullen ; 4 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: son, John K. Mullen, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Kay Mullen; son-in-law, J. R. Colon; sister, Rose Gordon; brother, George Gill, Sr.
A celebration of life service will be held from the Pequea Presbyterian Church Cemetery 273 Cambridge Rd. Gap on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at 11 AM. A viewing will be held from 10:30 to 11:00 AM at the cemetery.
