Edward Carl Frank, 98, formerly of Leola, passed away surrounded by his loving family on June 26, 2026.
Ed was born in New York City. He was employed as a special projects coordinator for SGS Control Services in the Government Program Division in NYC for 40 years. His work involved travel around the globe. Ed honorably served in the US Army.
He married the love of his life, Hildegard, in 1953. They were married for 61 years at the time of her passing in 2014.
Ed enjoyed travel, Andre Rieu concerts, gardening, house projects, model Lionel railroading and, most especially, spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ed is survived by his two children: Gene Frank (Patti) and Margaret Parker (Steve); four grandchildren: Lauren Parker, Kerry Parker (Edison), Kim Roth (Steve) and Kevin Frank; and seven great-grandchildren. He already is sorely missed by all.
Margaret, Steve, Gene and Patti extend their appreciation to the care givers at Oak Leaf Manor North for their kindness and assistance to their cherished dad.
Friends and family are invited to a graveside service on Wednesday July 1, 2026 at 11 am at Salem Hellers Church cemetery, 2555 Horseshoe Road, Lancaster.
