Elam B. Stoltzfus, 73, of 3734 Ridge Rd., Gordonville, passed away on his anniversary Sunday, November 12, 2023 at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy after a lengthy illness. Born in Leacock Twp., he was the son of the late Christian N. and Mary Blank Stoltzfus. He was the husband of Marian L. Stoltzfus Stoltzfus. They were married 49 years.
Elam was a sales person for 14 years at Peaceful Valley Furniture. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by: children, Rosemary married to Amos Zook, Ronks, Elam Jr. married to Ruthie Beiler Stoltzfus, Strasburg, J. Ivan married to Barbie Ebersol Stoltzfus, Bird-in-Hand, Lavina married to Mervin Esh, Gordonville, Sharon married to Amos F. Beiler III, Gap; 17 grandchildren; siblings, Hannah married to Amos Stoltzfus, NY, Elmer married to Rose Stoltzfus, Ronks, Sara married to Steve Petersheim, AL; brothers-in-law, Daniel King, Gordonville, Levi Stoltzfus, Narvon. He was preceded in death by sisters, Fannie King and Anna Mary Stoltzfus.
The family would like to thank Hospice & Community Care for their loving care and support of Elam.
Funeral Services: 9 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2023 from the late home with viewing there till the service. Interment: Dry Hill Cemetery, Gordonville.
