Elam H. Esh, 68, of 209 W. Telegraph Rd., Airville, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024 at his home. Born in Gordonville, he was the son of the late Amos G. and Katie Huyard Esh. His step-mother, Emma Zook Esh also preceded him in death. He was the husband of Annie Ebersol Esh and celebrated 47 years of marriage last November. Elam owned and operated the Amish Country Variety Store and was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by: 2 daughters, Naomi married to Benuel Esh, Elizabeth married to Henry Esh, both of Airville; 7 grandchildren; a great-grandson; brothers, Moses (Elizabeth), Paradise, Christian (Barbara & the late Verna), Airville, Aaron (Mima), Gordonville, Amos (Emma), WI, Ammon (Mary), IN; sisters, Emma (John) King, KY, Mary (Elam) Miller, Green Tree, Ada (Andrew) Beiler, Rawlinsville, Sarah (Jonas) Stoltzfus, Christiana, Naomi (the late David) Glick, Paradise; sister-in-law, Rachel Esh, Paradise. He was preceded in death by 2 stillborn sons, and a brother, David.
Funeral service: Henry Esh Res. 334 W. Telegraph Rd., Airville, Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 11 am. Viewing: late home from time of this notice till the service. Interment: Delta Cemetery.
