Elam M. Stoltzfus, 79, of 155 Maple St., Gordonville, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018. He was the husband of Naomi G. Stoltzfus. They were married for 57 years. He was the son of the late Jerry and Mattie Stoltzfus. Mr. Stoltzfus was a retired farmer and member of the Old Order Amish Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by: children, Martha married to Jacob R. Stoltzfus, Narvon, Sylvia married to the late Melvin Petersheim, Dillwyn, VA, David R. married to Mary Jane Stoltzfus, Montgomery, Levi J. married to Nancy Stoltzfus, Strasburg, Mervin E. married to Emma Stoltzfus, Narvon, Rachel E. married to Elmer Stoltzfus, Gordonville, Edna E. married to Steven Beiler, Allenwood, Elam Jr. married to Katie Ann Stoltzfus, Lykens; 53 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; brothers, Reuben, Kinzers, Menno married to Fannie, John married to Barbara, Henry married to Lizzie, all of Leola, Jonathan married to Amanda, Ben married to Elizabeth, both of Bellefonte; sisters, Annie married to Ephraim Stoltzfus, Narvon, Sadie Petersheim, Gordonville, Mary married to Daniel Stoltzfus, Christiana. He was preceded in death by: a daughter, Katie; a great-granddaughter; a son-in-law, Melvin Petersheim; other in-laws, Melvin Stoltzfus, Enos Petersheim, and Anna Mary.
Funeral services: Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at 9 a.m. EST from the Levi Fisher Residence 115 Old Leacock Rd., Gordonville. Viewing at the late home from the time of this notice till the service. Interment: Myer's Cemetery, Leola.
