Elam S. Zook, 47, of 277 Quarry Rd., Leola, passed away Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026 of natural causes at home. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Amos B. and Priscilla S. King Zook, Leola. He was the husband of Mima Stoltzfus Zook for 25 years. A member of the Old Order Amish Church, Mr. Zook was a farmer operating his own dairy farm and more recently worked at Oregon Ag.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by: two sons, Steven and John, at home; brothers, Samuel (Ruth Anne), Henry (Katie), Benuel (Anna Mary), Amos (Rebecca), Levi (Amanda), all of Manheim, Jonas K. Zook, Leola; sisters, Susie (John Beiler), Elizabethtown, Mattie (Enos Miller), Leola, Katie (Daniel Esh), Christiana, Rachel (Stephen Glick Jr.), Selinsgrove, Miriam (Ira Stoltzfus) Sacramento, Lizzie (Eli Lapp), Madisonburg, Annie K. Zook, Lancaster, Priscilla (Alvin Blank), Cochranville. He was preceded in death by a stillborn brother.
Funeral Services: 9 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026 at the late home with viewing there till the service. Interment: Upper Millcreek Cemetery.
