Eli K. Beiler, 88, of 143 Voganville Rd., New Holland, PA, died peacefully at home on Sunday evening, December 22, 2013. He was the husband of Annie Lapp Beiler. They were married for 67 years. Born in New Holland, he was the son of the late David B. and Rebecca King Beiler.
He was a farmer most of his life. Later, he worked for the Jay Group. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Besides his wife, he is survived by: four daughters, Leah wife of Elmer Fisher, Rebecca wife of John Beiler, Katie wife of David Beiler, all of Ronks, Sadie wife of Henry Stoltzfus of Manheim; two sons, David husband of Amanda King Beiler of New Holland, John husband of Ronna Michuck Beiler of Quarryville; a stepson, Amos husband of Lizzie King Stoltzfus of Narvon; a son-in-law, Mose Riehl of Paradise; 49 grandchildren; 160 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; 28 step-grandchildren; numerous step-great-grandchildren; a brother, Elam K. Beiler of Coatesville; brother-in-law, Dan Kanagy of Belleville; sisters-in-law, Gertie Beiler of Ohio, Sarah Beiler of Narvon, Anna wife of Elmer Lapp of Lancaster. He was preceded in death by a son, Christian; a daughter, Ruth Riehl; a daughter-in-law, Barbara Beiler Stoltzfus; a grandson; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Daniel, David, and Elmer; sisters, Malinda and Rebecca.
The funeral will be held at noon on Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at the late home. Friends may call from the time of this notice till the service at the late home. Interment will be in Myer's Cemetery.
