Elizabeth Harnish Graybill, 99, passed away May 2, 2013 at Landis Homes. Born in West Lampeter Township, she was the daughter of the late Jacob T. and Ella Weaver Harnish. She was the wife of John H. Graybill. They were married for 13 years. She was a member of Willow Street Mennonite Church, where she taught Sunday School for many years. She spent six years in Tanzania teaching practical skills to leprosy patients. She enjoyed sewing patches for comforter tops and visiting with family and friends. In addition to her husband, she is survived by: two stepdaughters, Miriam Thomas of Lititz, Midge Gerlach (Robert) of Washington Boro; two stepsons, John Wilber Graybill (Jeanine F.) of Willow Street, Herbert Graybill (Elaine F.) of New Providence; 10 step-grandchildren; 15 step-great-grandchildren and one brother Henry Harnish of Okla. She was preceded in death by nine siblings. A funeral will be held on Monday, May 6, 2013 at 11:00 AM at West Bethany Chapel at Landis Homes, 1001 E. Oregon Rd., Lititz. Friends may call Sunday, May 5, 2013 from 6-8:00 PM and Monday 10- 11:00 AM at West Bethany Chapel at Landis Homes. Interment will be in Mechanic Grove Mennonite Cemetery, Quarryville.
