Elizabeth Smucker, 90, of 3918 E. Newport Rd., Gordonville, formerly of New Holland, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 21, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late LeRoy Smucker with whom she shared 58 years of marriage before his passing in 2007. She was the daughter of the late Samuel U. and Katie Lapp Beiler. Mrs. Smucker was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. She also was a volunteer at Fairmount Homes for many years.
Surviving are her four children: Mary married to Samuel Beiler, Strasburg, Samuel married to Rachel Smucker Smucker, New Holland, Mervin married to Dawn Newswanger Smucker, Commodore, PA, Lydia married to Steven Esh, Gordonville; 23 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; six sisters and two brothers, Lydia (late David Stoltzfus), Narvon, Emma (late Elias King and Christ Lapp), Gap, John (Elizabeth Smucker), Parkesburg, Susie (Aaron Stoltzfus), New York, Anna (Ivan Stoltzfus), Honey Brook, Priscilla (Jonas King), Atglen, Barbara (late Benuel Stoltzfus), Talmage; brother-in-law, Samuel K. Stoltzfus, Gordonville; sisters-in-law, Sadie Mae Beiler, Katie Ann Beiler, both of Gap. She was preceded in death by: a granddaughter, Elizabeth Beiler; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary, Naomi and Katie; brothers, David and Samuel.
Funeral Services: 9 a.m. EST Tuesday, Apr. 23, 2019 at the late home. Viewing: at the late home till the service. Interment: Stoltzfus Cemetery, New Holland.
