Ella Mae Martin, 82, of Fairmount Homes, Ephrata, went home to be with the Lord on Oct. 31, 2024. Born in Denver, PA, she was the daughter of the late Henry S. and Mary W. Martin Martin. She was the loving wife of David B. Martin who died in 2008.
Mrs. Martin worked for many years in the housekeeping department at Landis Homes. A member of Groffdale Mennonite Church, she enjoyed reading, hiking and flower gardening. She will be lovingly missed by: children, Michelle Jean married to Timothy Glick, Oley, David Roger married to Lisa Martin, Trinidad; four granddaughters, Kimberly Martin, Rosalee, Anita and Katie Glick; siblings, Edith married to the late Ezra Weaver, Susan married to Patrick Malin, Harlan married to Kathy Martin; sisters-in-law, Anna Martin and Gwyneth Martin; brothers-in-law, Titus Kurtz and Leon Fox. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Arthur, Eugene and Melvin Martin, Esther Kurtz and Laura Fox.
Funeral Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024 from the Groffdale (Brick) Mennonite Church, 168 N. Groffdale Rd., Leola. Viewings: Friday, 2pm – 4 pm at the Wheat Ridge Chapel of Fairmount Homes, 333 Wheat Ridge Dr., Ephrata and Saturday, 9:30 am – 10:30 am at the Church. Interment: Groffdale (Brick) Mennonite Cemetery.
