Elmer L. Stoltzfus, 68, of 125 Meadow Creek Rd., New Holland, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2015. Born in Leola, he was the son of the late Roy and Lizzie Lapp Stoltzfus. Mr. Stoltzfus was the husband of the late Rachel Miller Stoltzfus. A farmer and welder, he was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
He is survived by: five children, Ruth Ann married to Jacob Stoltzfus, New Holland, Samuel married to Sara Ann Fisher Stoltzfus, South Carolina, David married to Ruthie Beiler, Stoltzfus, New Holland, Rebecca married to Eli K. Lapp Jr., Gordonville, John married to Rosanne King Stoltzfus, New Holland; 28 grandchildren; siblings, Daniel husband of Dorothy Stoltzfus, New Holland, Henry husband of Lydia Stoltzfus, Gordonville, Annie wife of John Fisher, Ronks, Reuben husband of Sadie Stoltzfus, Christiana, Roy husband of Emma Stoltzfus, Benuel husband of Rebecca Stoltzfus, Leon, husband of Lydia Stoltzfus, all of Leola, Rachel wife of Eli Dienner of Parkesburg; sister-in-law, Rebecca wife of Samuel Stoltzfus.
He was preceded in death by: two brothers, Ivan and Abner; two sisters, Sadie and Rebecca.
Funeral services will be held from the late home on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 9 a.m. EST with interment following in Dry Hill Cemetery, Gordonville. Friends may call at the late home from the time of this notice until the time of the service. Kindly omit flowers.
