Elwood G. Brubaker, 96, formerly of Fruitville Pike, Lancaster, passed away Monday, June 15, 2015 at Landis Homes. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Jacob S. and Anna Mae Garber Brubaker.
A farmer, he continued to work well into his 70s. He was a member of Landis Valley Christian Fellowship, Lancaster, where he served as a trustee and on the cemetery committee. An avid hunter, he was a member of the Larch Mount Hunting Camp in Potter Co.
The last of his immediate family, he is survived by 12 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Henry, Paul, and Ezra Brubaker; and four sisters, Ethel Brubaker, Elizabeth Esbenshade, Ruth Brubaker, and Anna Mae Sauder.
Funeral services will be held from the Landis Valley Christian Fellowship 2420 Kissel Hill Rd. Lancaster, PA 17601 on Monday, June 22, 2015 at 11 AM with interment following in the adjoining cemetery. Friends may call from 10 to 11AM at the church on Monday. Kindly omit flowers.
