Emanuel S. Esh, 84, of 239 Haiti Rd., Quarryville, entered into rest on Monday, November 21, 2016 at home. Born in Leacock Twp., he was the son of the late Levi and Annie Smucker Esh. He was the husband of Ida S. Kauffman Esh. They were married for 55 years. Mr. Esh was a Dutch Market Meats stand holder at Annapolis and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by: three children, Steven husband of Lydia Mae King Esh, Quarryville, Marianne wife of Steven B. Fisher, Newburg, Michael Lee husband of Emma B. King Esh, Quarryville; 18 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Levi married to the late Fannie Esh, Quarryville, David married to Arlene Esh, Narvon, Daniel married to the late Rebecca Esh, Atglen; four sisters, Katie married to Emanuel Fisher, Bird-in-Hand, Sally married to the late Jacob Flaud, Newburg, Anna Mary married to Chris Lapp, Paradise, Lydia married to Amos Stoltzfus, Narvon; sisters-in-law, Katie, Annie and Betty.
He was preceded in death by: three stillborn sons; one great-granddaughter; five brothers, Stephen, Amos, Jonathan, John and Aaron.
Funeral Services: Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at 9:00 AM from the home of Steven J. Esh, 235 Haiti Rd., Quarryville. Burial: Bart Cemetery, Georgetown. Viewing: at the late home from the time of this notice till the service. Kindly omit flowers.
