Emma E. Lantz, 95, of 383 Mt. Vernon Rd., Gap, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2026 at her home. Born in Gap, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Lizzie Stoltzfus Lapp. She was the wife of the late Benjamin K. Lantz, who died in 2017. She was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Surviving are: two children, Anna Mary married to Daniel J. Stoltzfus, Amos married to Marlene Miller Lantz, both of Economy, IN; daughter-in-law, Sylvia Stoltzfus Lantz, Gap; 21 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: a son, John Lantz; a daughter, Lizzie Lantz; a stillborn son; daughter-in-law, Susie Lantz; two brothers; two sisters.
Funeral services will be held from the late home on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at 9 AM EST with interment following in Buena Vista Cemetery, Gap. The viewing will be at the late home from the time of this notice till the service.
