Emma S. Zook, 85, of 2928 Compass Rd., Honey Brook, PA passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at her home. Born in Leacock, she was the daughter of the late John R. and Lizzie Stoltzfoos Allgyer. She was the wife of Amos Z. Zook.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband are: 11 children, Abner A. husband of Sarah Ellen Fisher Zook, John A. husband of Sadie Fisher Zook, both of Gap, Amos A. husband of Rebecca Dienner Zook of Honey Brook, Reuben A. husband of Anna Zook Zook of Gap, Leon J. husband of Emma Kauffman Zook of Dornsife, Anna D. wife of Moses F. Stoltzfus, Mary E. wife of Amos E. Beiler, both of Kinzers, Lizzie A. wife of Eli K. Blank, Emma A. wife of Lloyd J. Stoltzfoos, Verna A. wife of John F. Lapp, all of Gap, Rebecca A. Zook at home; 67 grandchildren; 148 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are: three brothers, Benjamin S., Henry S., and Reuben S. Allgyer; two sisters, Rebecca S. Allgyer, Katie L. Fisher. She was preceded in death by: a grandson, three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Jacob, John, and Stephen Allgyer; an infant sister.
Funeral services will be held from the Sam Fisher Residence 2970 Compass Rd., Honey Brook on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 9 AM EST with interment in Buena Vista Cemetery. Friends may call at the Sam Fisher Residence from the time of this notice until the time of the service. Kindly omit flowers.
