Ethel Mae Poppe, 78, of Leola, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully after a lengthy battle with cancer on Tuesday, August 2, 2016.
Born in Mellen, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Edna (Weaver) Kritz and was the loving wife of Roger A. Poppe. They would have been married 56 years this August. A homemaker and member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, Lancaster, she enjoyed travelling, gardening and spending time with family.
Mrs. Poppe will also be lovingly missed by: two sons, Scott Poppe of Leola, Brian married to Melissa Schucker Poppe of Lititz; two daughters, Debra Bomberger of Lititz, Jeane Poppe of Ephrata; six granddaughters, Heather, Nicole, Tara, Julie, Jennifer, Jill; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Kritz of Mellen, WI; sister, Helen Toschner of Merrill, WI. A brother, William Kritz preceded her in death.
