Frederick B. Lueders Sr., 93, of Lititz, formerly of Leola entered into rest Friday, March 8, 2024 at Brethren Village while under hospice care. Born in Strasburg, he was the son of the late Harry J. and Ruth E. Loercher Lueders. He was the loving husband of A. Catherine Mattern Lueders who died in 2018.
Mr. Lueders was the founder and president of Tapsco, Inc., Akron, a photographic composition firm. He enjoyed traveling with his wife. He was an avid golfer; a member of the Lebanon Country Club; and had attended Zion Lutheran Church, Leola. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a Staff Sergeant during the Korean War.
He will be lovingly missed by: two children, Frederick B. Jr. of Lititz, Carol Ann Lueders, New Holland; a granddaughter, Catherine Yorgey. He loved his “grand-dog” Ohana. Two brothers, Robert and Harry Lueders preceded him in death.
Funeral Services: 11 a.m. Friday, Mar. 15, 2024 from the Furman Home for Funerals, 59 W. Main St., Leola with viewing a half hour before the service. Interment: Bareville Cemetery.
