Harold L. Snader, 101, of Fairmount Homes, formerly of Bareville, passed away Friday, March 1, 2024. Born in Mohnton, he was the son of the late Harvey and Edna (Lebo) Snader. He was the husband of the late Helen (Miller) Snader who passed away in 2014 after 71 years or marriage.
A retired self-employed builder, he and his wife enjoyed their cottage at Riverside Beach, MD, and their cabin in Cedar Run, PA. Harold was a graduate of Upper Leacock High School and served in the Army Air Corps during WWII. He was a member of the Beulaland Hunting Club, a Freemason with over 60 years of service, and a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Leola.
Surviving are: 3 children, Nancy (Dennis) Diffendall, William (Cheryl) Snader, Robert (Donna) Snader; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: a sister, Pauline Miller.
Funeral service will be held at the Furman Home for Funerals, 59 W. Main St., Leola on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 11 am with interment following in Trumbauer Memorial Cemetery. The viewing will be from 10 to 11 am at the funeral home on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Fairmount Homes Sharing Fund or to the charity of one’s choice.
