Harold R. Forry, 91, of Longwood Manor, Maytown, formerly of Mount Joy, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2017. Born in Manheim Twp., he was the son of the late B. Earl and Fannie Root Forry. He was the devoted husband of Ruth I. Stoner Forry. They observed their 69thanniversary in March.
Mr. Forry was involved with poultry for most of his working years. He was in poultry service for Pennfield Feeds retiring after 25 years and also raised broilers for Pennfield. He was a member of the Community Bible Church, Marietta where he had served on the board. In his retirement, he drove a mini-bus for IU-13. He and his wife enjoyed camping and traveling.
He is also survived by: three children, Frederick S. Forry, Friendship Community, Kathy J. married to Paul A. Brosey, Bainbridge, Timothy married to Lisa Mull Forry, Mount Joy; six grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; siblings, Mervin married to the late Martha Forry, Lancaster, Martha married to Clyde High, Akron; sister-in-law, Norma Forry, Lancaster. A great-grandson, Boaz Branham and siblings, Earl Forry Jr., Arlene Landis and Richard Forry preceded him in death.
The Memorial Service will be Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017 at 3 p.m. from the Community Bible Church, 331 Anderson Ferry Road, Marietta with greeting time after the service.
