Helen E. (Miller) Snader, 90, of 38 S. Hershey Ave., Leola, entered into rest on Tuesday, October 21, 2014. She was the loving wife of Harold L. Snader. They celebrated their 71stwedding anniversary on April 25th. Born in Ephrata, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Maud Killian Miller.
Helen was a receptionist at the dental office of Dr. Andrew Caldwell, Leola. She was a member of the class of 1941 Ephrata High School; member of Zion Lutheran Church, Leola; enjoyed knitting, crafts, and was a past officer in the Ladies Auxiliary of the Bareville Fire Co. She and her husband enjoyed many trips in earlier years to their cottage at Riverside Beach, Maryland, and in later years to their mountain cabin at Cedar Run, PA.
She will also be lovingly missed by her children, Nancy married to Dennis Diffendall, Lititz, William married to Cheryl Snader, Robert married to Donna Snader, both Leola; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. Her brother, Carl Miller; sisters, Pearl Dohner, Dorothy Lausch; and a daughter-in-law, Deb Snader preceded her in death.
