Helen Marie Strouse, 86, formerly of Mount Joy, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at Ephrata Manor. Born in Wrightsville, she was the daughter of the late Harry G. Sr., and Helen Mae (Sourbeer) Manley. She was the wife of the late Ronald Strouse who passed away last November.
Always social and outgoing, she loved spending time with family and friends. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Leola.
She was the beloved mother of James married to Donna Horst Eck, Ephrata, and is survived by 2 sisters, Georgia M. Manley, York, M. Carolyn married to Richard Dellinger, Mount Joy; 6 nieces; 4 nephews. She was preceded in death by: two brothers, Harry Jr., and Paul Manley; a sister Margaret Shoff.
Funeral services will be held from the Zion Lutheran Church, 18 Quarry Rd., Leola, on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at 11 am. The family will visit with friends from 10 to 11 am at the church on Thursday. Private interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Wrightsville. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ephrata Manor or Hospice and Community Care.
