Henry “Hank” King Lantz, a widower, entered his final rest at his home on Saturday, November 29, 2025. He was born on June 28, 1932, to Isaac S. Lantz and Naomi King Lantz. He was a retired truck driver and laborer.
He married Alice E. Brackbill of Gordonville on January 21,1956. He is survived by their four children, Ronald L. Lantz (Debora) of Smoketown, PA, Allen L. Lantz of Maple Valley, WA, Kathy L. Hornaday (Scott) of Bowling Green, KY, and Lisa M. Lantz (Pete Kirk) of East Petersburg, PA; grandchildren Alison (Jared) Spence, Stephen (Alyssa) Lantz and Katherine Hornaday, five great-granddaughters, five siblings Ruth Zook, Daniel Lantz, Jonas Lantz, Leah Fisher and Eli Lantz and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be conducted at Furman Funeral Home, 59 W. Main St., Leola, on Friday, December 5, 2025, at 11:00 am. The family will receive visitors from 9:30 am – 11:00 am. Mr. Lantz will be buried beside his beloved wife of 56 years at Hershey’s Mennonite Church, Kinzers, PA.
