Henry P. Esh, 91, of 2874 Stumptown Road, Ronks, died at home on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015. Born in Ronks, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Malinda Petersheim Esh. He was the husband of Malinda Kauffman Esh who died in 2002. A member of the Old Order Amish Church, Mr. Esh had a chair shop where he made and caned chairs.
He is survived by: children, Ben married to Katie Stoltzfus Esh, Peach Bottom, Amos married to Lydia Lapp Esh, Paradise, John married to Annie Kauffman Esh, Loganton, Christ married to the late Katie Smucker Esh, Lancaster, Rachel married to Stephen Fisher, Loganton, Anna married to Dan U. Esh, Loganton, Elmer married to Annie King Esh, Ronks, Malinda married to Christ King, Lititz, Sarah married to Amos Blank, Christiana, Steven married to Annie King Esh, Lancaster; 81 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Katie King Esh married to the late Henry P. Esh Jr., Kirkwood. He was preceded in death by: sons, Henry and Samuel; daughter-in-law, Katie; brothers, John, Ben, Eli, Christ; sisters, Sarah King, Lizzie Kauffman and Malinda King.
The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Friday, Dec. 4, 2015 from the late home. Interment: Myer's Cemetery, Leola. Viewing: at the late home from the time of this notice till the service.
