Isaac Z. Stoltzfus, 84, of 448 Centerville Rd., Gordonville, died unexpectedly of natural causes on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at his home. Born in Kinzers, he was the son of the late Stephen and Mary Fisher Stoltzfus. His step-mother, Susie Lapp Stoltzfus also preceded him in death. He was the husband of the late Miriam F. Stoltzfus Stoltzfus who died in 2021. Isaac was a cashier at W. L. Zimmerman & Sons Hardware, Intercourse. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Surviving are: children, Sylvan J. husband of the late Sylvia Esh Stoltzfus, Kinzers, Emma Mae married to Amos Fisher, Gordonville, Priscilla S. married to Jonas Stoltzfus, Jr., East Earl, Susie Anne married to Amos Jay King, Quarryville, Linda Ruth married to Samuel King, Gordonville; 38 grandchildren; 77 great-grandchildren; siblings, Benuel F. husband of the late Lizzie Stoltzfus, Kinzers, Ira K. married to Fannie Stoltzfus, Parkesburg, Stephen U. Jr., married to Rosa Stoltzfus, IN, Willie husband of Faith Stoltzfus, OH, Sylvan F. married to Sarah Stoltzfus, Kinzers.
He was preceded in death by: a son, Mahlon David Stoltzfus; a grandson, Marcus Stoltzfus; a great-granddaughter, Maria Beiler; two brothers, Alvin and Amos.
Funeral services will be held from the Jake Ervin Fisher residence, 17 A Lesal Rd., Gordonville, on Tuesday, January 23rd at 9 am with interment following in Spring Garden Cemetery. The viewing will be held at the Amos and Emma Fisher residence, 5 Lesal Rd., Gordonville, from the time of this notice till the service.
