J. Clyde Weaver, 79, of Landis Homes, Lititz, formerly of Baltimore, MD, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 after a long illness. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Harvey and Ella (Lefever) Weaver.

He is survived by Edna Denlinger Weaver, his loving wife of 57 years; three daughters: Marilyn Weaver Sonnie, Stamford, CT, Gloria (Steve) Stover, Huntsville, AL, Carol (Stephen) Good, Reading, PA; two sons: J. Michael (Sue) Weaver, Baltimore, MD, Jeffrey (Laura) Weaver, San Antonio, TX; eleven grandchildren; three brothers, Ralph (Carolyn) Weaver, Melvin (Marian) Weaver, Irvin (Dorothy) Weaver and one sister, Ruth (Daniel) Stoltzfus, Sarasota, FL. He was preceded in death by a sister, Arlene Weaver.

Clyde was the co-founder of Pine Heights Commercial Kitchen Service, retiring in 2004. He was known as the man who could “fix anything.” He was a deacon for 23 years at Wilkens Ave. Mennonite Church in Baltimore, MD, and faithfully taught Sunday School and Bible School. He was currently a member at Millport Mennonite Church, Leola.

A viewing will be held at Landis Homes West Bethany Chapel, 1001 E. Oregon Rd., Lititz, on Friday, July 12, 2013 from 6-8 PM. A memorial service will take place at Millport Mennonite Church, 820 Log Cabin Rd., Leola, on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 11 AM. Family will greet friends 10-11 AM at the church.
