Jacob E. Riehl Contractor Jacob E. Riehl, 64, of 2328 Rockvale Road, Lancaster, passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Elam S. and Aary Esh Riehl. Jacob was a self-employed contractor and worked with Steven and Ron Riehl in roofing and siding over the years. He was a member of the American Legion, Lancaster and the Rainmaker’s Club, and he enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and NASCAR as well as listening to country music. He will be missed by: his five children, Rose wife of Mike Cole, Leah Davis fiancée of Ed Pirrung, Anthony A. Riehl, all of Lancaster, Crystal Riehl fiancée of Robert Eckard, Hanover, Jacob E. Riehl, Jr., Lancaster; eight grandchildren, Cody, Jimmy, Dillon, Grant, Noah, Brady, Christopher, Reese; one great-grandson, Easton; his companion, Lori Proto, New Providence; four brothers, Moses husband of the late Lena Riehl, Compass, Aaron husband of Norma Riehl, LA, Ephraim husband of the late Linda Riehl, Kinzers, Steven husband of Beatrice Riehl, Lancaster; two sisters, Annie wife of the late Elmer Beiler, Elizabeth wife of Daniel King, both White Horse; a sister-inlaw, Joanne Riehl, Manheim. He was preceded in death by: four brothers, Elias, Amos, Samuel, Elam Jr.; two sisters, twins Aary and Mary Riehl. The funeral will be Monday, January 14, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. from Furman Home for Funerals, 59 W. Main Street, Leola, PA. Interment: Eby Cemetery. Viewing: Monday from 9:30-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
