Jacob Z. Stoltzfus, 78, of Lancaster, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 5th, 2025. He was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He was the son of the late Paul and Annie (Zook) Stoltzfus. Jacob was the loving husband of Rebecca (Fisher) Stoltzfus.

His childhood years were spent working in the fields on his Amish family’s farm and serving the public alongside his family in their farm’s onsite butcher shop. He started his career as a carpenter, building homes while working for E.G. Stoltzfus. His love for woodworking and carpentry stayed with him throughout his entire life. His outgoing personality was a perfect fit for his many years of working in sales, including his most recent sales position at GreenWay Fence and Railing.

He enjoyed following baseball, writing, spending time with his grandchildren, and grilling & serving food to large groups of people from all walks of life.

Jake was a strong, devoted Christian, and his faith in the Lord was the foundation of his life. His love for serving others, his words of encouragement, warm & friendly personality, and his smile were all themes throughout his entire life. He served as a dedicated trustee at the Local Christian Assembly Church for over 20 years. He was also loved by many at the United Bride Assembly. Throughout his walk with the Lord, he left a lasting impact on all who knew him. His faith, love, and kindness will be remembered by many.
