Jean H. Hornberger, 90, of the Keystone Villa at Ephrata, formerly of Brownstown, entered into rest on Monday, Apr. 17, 2017. Born in New Holland, she was the daughter of the late John K. and Emma Hoover Maser. She was the loving wife of the late Richard W. Hornberger who died on Apr. 29, 2015.
Mrs. Hornberger was a store clerk at the former Hartman’s Store, Brownstown and Oregon Dairy.
She is survived by: a daughter, Doris Hornberger, Lancaster; a son, Dennis married to Deborah Long Hornberger, Lititz; three grandchildren, Melinda (Daniel Hershey), Matthew (Amy Bucher), Amanda (Dennis Bakay); great-grandchildren, Ethan and Dylan Hershey. A granddaughter, Melissa Hornberger; brothers, Jack, Jim and Ben Maser; and sisters, Esther Myer and Marian Gamber preceded her in death.
Private interment of ashes will be in Conestoga Memorial Park. Memorial contributions are welcomed to: Hospice & Community Care, PO Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
