Jesse J. Lapp, 83, of 157 North Star Rd., Ronks, died Saturday, June 6, 2026 at home of natural causes. Born in Ronks, he was the son of the late Isaac and Salome Stoltzfus Lapp. He was the husband of Mary K. (Fisher) Fisher Lapp and the late Barbara S. (Lapp) Lapp who died in 2012. A member of the Old Order Amish Church, Mr. Lapp was a retired dairy farmer and later owned a craft store.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by: 11 children, Isaac married to Sadie Stoltzfus Lapp, Littlestown, Emma married to Samuel Stoltzfus, Oxford, Aaron married to Betsie Stoltzfus Lapp, Quarryville, Salome married to Joseph Fisher, Waveland IN, Barbara married to Levi Stoltzfus, Quarryville, Jacob married to Fannie Stoltzfus Lapp, Ronks, Jesse married to Katie Stoltzfus Lapp, Quarryville, Joseph married to Mary Byler Lapp, Westminster MD, Jonas married to Katie Esh Lapp, Taneytown MD, David married to Susie Stoltzfus Lapp, Emmittsburg MD, Lydia married to Enos Swarey, Leola; 110 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; siblings, Joseph married to Fannie Lapp, Isaac married to Emma Lapp, John married to Barbara Lapp, all Ronks, Rachel married to the late Amos Stoltzfus, Nottingham, Lydia married to Amos Esh, Elizabeth married to Mose Esh, both Paradise. A daughter, Mattie; a grandson; siblings, Gideon Lapp, Emma King, Annie Lapp preceded him in death.
Funeral Services: 10 a.m. EDT, Tuesday, June 9, 2026 from the late home with viewing there till the service. Interment: Gordonville Cemetery.
