John D. Lapp, 67, of 3016 Harvest Drive, Ronks (formerly known as 3016 Irishtown Rd.) died at home, Sunday, March 9, 2014. He was the husband of Malinda Lapp Lapp. Born in Ronks, he was the son of the late Christ B. and Barbara Dienner Lapp. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Besides his wife, he is survived by: children, Crist B. husband of Rebecca Glick Lapp of Ronks, Steven L. husband of Rachel Stoltzfus Lapp of Modoc, IN, John L. husband of Barbara Ann King Lapp of Williamsburg, IN, Barbara L. wife of Samuel Beiler of Kinzers, David L. husband of Lydia Ann Stoltzfus Lapp of Greensfork, IN, Benuel L. husband of Sally Beiler Lapp of Paradise, Daniel L. husband of Annie Sue King Lapp of Honey Brook; 36 grandchildren; sister, Sarah wife of Aaron Lapp of Gordonville; brother, Elam husband of Naomi Stoltzfus Lapp of Millersburg. He was preceded in death by four grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at the home of Crist Lapp, 3019 Harvest Drive (formerly known as 3019 Irishtown Rd.) Ronks on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 9:00 AM EST. Friends may call at the late home from the time of this until the service. Interment will be in Gordonville Cemetery.
