John E. “Jack” Cunningham, 95, formerly of Leola, passed away Friday, June 27, 2025 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late John B. and Kathryn Cunningham. He was the husband of Betty Lou (Noll) Cunningham.
Jack served in the U. S. Navy reserves. He worked for the Conestoga Valley School District where he was a teacher at the high school and principal of the Conestoga Valley Junior High School.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by: a son Kerry (Tracy) Cunningham; a daughter, Lori (Kenneth) Strickler; grandchildren, Brian Cunningham, Kara (John) Rust, Brad (Sierra Fish) Strickler; great -granddaughter, Rose Rust.
Private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be made to Hospice and Community Care.
