John E. King, 82, of 15 N. Weavertown Rd., Ronks, passed away Friday, August 15, 2014, at his home. Born in Honey Brook, he was the son of the late Aaron L. and Malinda Stoltzfus King. He was the husband of Sylvia Stoltzfus King. He was also the husband of the late Miriam Stoltzfus King who died in 1991. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife are: seven children, Esther King, Woodward, Susie wife of Joseph Blank, Narvon, Aaron husband of Miriam Smucker King, Levi husband of Ruth Stoltzfus King, Dan husband of Barbie Riehl King, Katie wife of Alvin Zook, all of Honey Brook, Lydia wife of Alvin Beiler, Ickesburg; two step-children, Emma wife of Elam Fisher, Jacob husband of Mary Beiler King, both of Ronks; sister-in-law, Sarah Stoltzfus, Leola; step-sister-in-law, Rebecca wife of John Kauffman, Christiana; 47 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 91 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: a daughter, Malinda; son-in-law, Jacob King; four grandchildren; four brothers; two sisters.
Funeral services will be held from the Weavertown Coach Shop, 3007 Old Philadelphia Pike, Bird-in-Hand, on Monday, August 18th at 9 am EST with interment in Stoltzfus Cemetery, Honey Brook. Friends may call at the late home from the time of this notice until the time of the service. Kindly omit flowers.
