Those we love don’t go away; they walk beside us every day.
Our beloved son, father, brother and uncle has passed away unexpectedly on Sunday December 10, 2023 at his home in Lancaster. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Audrey A. Spickler Imber and the late John H. Imber Sr. He was a 1985 Conestoga Valley High School graduate and worked passionately as a landscaper, enjoyed weight lifting and was an avid gardener.
We treasure the life you shared with us, for your kind heart, helpful hands, your love and concern for your mother, family, friends and animals alike. Not to forget your above and beyond sense of humor.
Your actions were always kind. A generous hand and an active mind. Anxious to please and loath to offend. A loving man and a faithful friend. That’s why this special message is sent to heaven above for the angels to take good care of you and give you all our love, Your loving family.
Survivors include his mother, Audrey A. Spickler Imber; his wife, Cheryl A. Walter Imber; a daughter, Kyrstin Imber; three granddaughters; a brother, Dergon Spickler, Lancaster; sisters Deborah Jean McCauley Brauer, Wendy Marie McCauley; and extended family.
The most beautiful thing someone can leave behind is the smile on the face of the ones who are thinking of him.
A gathering of friends and family to share memories will take place on Thursday, Dec. 21, 2023 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Furman Home for Funerals, 59 W. Main St., Leola, PA.
