John K. Stoltzfus, 83, of 400 Newport Rd., Ronks, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2013 at his home. Born in Ronks, he was the son of the late Daniel B. and Fannie S. King Stoltzfus. He was the husband of the late Sarah Stoltzfus Stoltzfus, who died in 2010. He was a farmer and woodworker and served as a Deacon in the Old Order Amish Church. He is survived by nine children: Anna wife of Ben Fisher, Gordonville, Ruth wife of David Smucker, Narvon, Fannie wife of Erbie Stoltzfus, Ronks, Sara Ann wife of Stephen Stoltzfus, Gordonville, Ephraim husband of Verna Yoder Stoltzfus, Birdin- Hand, David R. husband of Sadie Mae Stoltzfus Stoltzfus, Gap, Daniel husband of Amanda Stoltzfus Stoltzfus, Bird-in-Hand, John husband of Judy Stump Stoltzfus, Monterey, TN, Melvin husband of Lisa Little Stoltzfus, Gap; 58 grandchildren; 59 greatgrandchildren; three brothers, Daniel husband of Betty Stoltzfus, Lancaster, Joseph husband of Dorothy Stoltzfus, Leola, Reuben husband of Rachel Stoltzfus, Talmage; four sisters, Fannie Fisher, Atglen, Leah wife of Amos Esh, Lancaster, Mary wife of Mark Stoltzfus, Narvon, Mattie wife of Neil Stoltzfus, Johnson City, TN. He was preceded in death by: four brothers, Jesse, Christ, Moses and David; two sisters, Annie and Rebecca; four great-grandchildren. The funeral will be Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at 9:00 AM EST from the late home. Interment in Myer’s Cemetery. Friends may call from the time of this notice till the service at the late home.
