John Ray Stillwagon, 57, of Ronks, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 20, 2024. Born in Park Ridge, IL, he was the son of Lorraine (Barber) Stillwagon, companion Edward, and the late Harry Stillwagon.
Johnny Ray was a 1984 graduate of Fairchance Georges High School in Uniontown, PA. He was a volunteer firefighter in Smithfield, PA. He was a member of the AmVets, Rainmakers, and the American Order of Otters and their Dart team. He enjoyed bowling in several leagues, and was a DJ for many years. He worked at Dart Container, Leola, for 31 years.
In addition to his mother and Edward, he is survived by: his brother, Robert Stillwagon, Ronks and his nephew, Colton, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of John’s life will be held from the Furman Home for Funerals, 59 W. Main St., Leola, on Saturday, February 3rd from 2 to 6 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
A memorial service will be held from the McClellandtown Presbyterian Church, 292 Springer Rd, McClellandtown, PA on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 12 noon. The family will greet friends from 11 am to 12 pm at the church.
