John S. Fisher, 81, of 68 Quarry Rd., Paradise, entered into rest Saturday, November 7, 2026 at home. Born in Paradise, he was the son of the late Aaron E. and Mary King Fisher. He was the husband of Susie Fisher Fisher. John was a retired farmer and member of the Old Order Amish Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by: children, Mary Jane married to Alvin Zook, Strasburg, Verna M. married to David King, Paradise, Ruth Ann married to Alvin Lapp, Kinzers, Miriam J. married to Eli Lapp Jr., Ickesburg, Melvin Ray married to Fannie Fisher, Alderson, WV; 31 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a brother, Melvin married to Frieda Esh Fisher. A sister-in-law, Annie Stoltzfus Fisher and a sister, Naomi Fisher preceded him in death.
Funeral Services: 9 a.m. Monday, Nov. 9, 2026 from the home of David King, 72 Quarry Rd., Paradise. Viewing: at the late home till the service. Interment: Gordonville Cemetery.
