     Joshua M. Buckwalter, 28, of Lancaster, passed away on Oct. 26, 2015 as a result of a long and hard-fought illness.  Josh was born in Lancaster, PA. 

     Josh attended Warwick High School and graduated in 2005.  Throughout high school, he was a stand-out athlete who played baseball, rugby and football.  He was an advanced martial artist with the achievement of a Brown Belt. Josh started working for his grandfather at Riehl Improvements, LLC when he was 18 years old.  He held that job until the time of his illness.  Josh loved to watch NFL football and always cheered for the Dallas Cowboys. He cherished time spent with his family and friends.  Josh also loved kids and had a huge heart for animals, especially his German Shepherd dog, Dallas.

     Those who had the pleasure of knowing Josh saw a kind and gentle soul.  He was a young man full of compassion, who had a genuine spirit always willing to help others.  Josh was a devoted son, grandson and friend to all.  This young man will be missed dearly by his family and friends. 

    Josh is survived by his parents, Donald and Tammy Buckwalter Sweet; grandparents, Carol and Ron Riehl, Lancaster, David and Linda Buckwalter, Lititz; aunts and uncles, Donna Leaman, Dennis and Marlene Buckwalter, Barbara Riehl and Marlin, Michael and Melissa Riehl, Rhiannon and Todd Helm; and many cousins.
