K. Richard “Dick” Wilt, 89, of Landis Homes, formerly of 116 Elmwood Road, Lancaster, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 15, 2018. Born in Altoona, PA, he was the son of the late Rev. Kenneth E. and Iva Fether Wilt. He was the beloved husband of Kathleen R. Clemens Wilt, Landis Homes and the late Martha E. Walter Wilt who passed away in 1997. He was a member of Faith E.C. Church, Lancaster; enjoyed camping and was a secretary for Troop 92, BSA. Richard worked as a printer at Miller Hess Shoe Co. in Akron, PA for twenty years and retired from Hocking Printing, Ephrata.
Besides his wife Kay, he will be lovingly missed by: two sons, Kenton married to Jane Biddinger Wilt, Jeffrey married to Lynn Rauba Wilt, both of New Holland; three step-daughters, Valeria married to the late Buddy Gray of Bareville, KY, Elayne married to Paul Hazlett of Clinton, OH, Rachel married to Dr. Mark Kendrick of New Smyrna Beach, FL; one step-son, Jeff Andrew of Port Orange, FL; two grandchildren, Amanda (Dave) Huhtala, Dr. Zachary Wilt (fiance’ of Courtney); five step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; one sister, Leone married to Dennis Lauffer of New Holland; one brother, Clair married to Jeannie Wilt of Lancaster.
Funeral Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2018 at Furman Home for Funerals, 59 W. Main St., Leola with viewing from 10-11 a.m. Interment: Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
