Katheryn O. Eckert, 80, of Leola, went peacefully to be with her creator on Wednesday, July 27, 2016. Born in Grassy Creek, NC, she was the daughter of the late William Coy Segraves and Goldia Eller Segraves. She was the loving wife of the late Raymond Eckert who died in 1998.
A member of the Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Brownstown, Katheryn enjoyed reading, singing in the choir, Gospel music, English Springer Spaniels, and most especially spending time with friends and family.
She will be lovingly missed by: her daughters, Julia Marie Eckert Stroud, Carpentersville, IL, Linda “Lin” married to John Anderson, with whom she resided; four grandchildren, Josh, Ryan, Paul and Ian; five great-grandchildren. She was the last of her immediate family.
A Celebration of her Life will be on Monday, Aug. 1st, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 11 N. Church St., Brownstown, PA with greeting time from 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Memorials are welcomed to: Emmanuel U.M. Church, PO Box 605, Brownstown PA 17508.
