Katie B. Blank, 86, of 173 Hershey Church Rd., Kinzers, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2014 of natural causes at home. Born in Ronks, she was the daughter of the late Amos and Fannie Beiler Fisher. Katie was the wife of the late Jacob K. Blank who died December 14, 1976. She was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Surviving are: twelve children, Fannie married to Benuel Fisher, Strasburg, Lizzie married to Aaron Lapp, New Holland, Mary married to David Glick, Mount Joy, Ruth married to Kore Stoltzfus, Intercourse, Katie married to Eli Lapp, Paradise, Barbie married to Earl Stoltzfus, Gap, Jacob married to Rebecca Lapp Blank, Paradise, Amos married to Edna Fisher Blank, Strasburg, John married to Mary Stoltzfus Blank, Kinzers, Anna married to Daniel Kauffman, Honey Brook, Sadie married to Elam King, Hershey, Samuel married to Beth Blank, the Philippines; daughter-in-law, Mary Smucker Blank, Gordonville; 67 grandchildren; 165 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Annie Beiler, Paradise, Ruth married to Abner King, Rebersburg; two brothers, Andrew married to Ruth Fisher, New Holland, Isaac married to Amanda Fisher, East Earl.
She was preceded in death by: a son, David Blank; three brothers, Jacob, Amos and Jonathan Fisher; a sister, Mary Stoltzfus; three great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held from the late home on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 11:00 AM with nterment in Spring Garden Cemetery, Kinzers. Friends may call from the time of this notice till the service at the late home. Kindly omit flowers.
