Katie L. Stoltzfus, 97, of 18 S. Belmont Rd., Paradise, passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Daniel U. and Mary (Lapp) Stoltzfus. She was the widow of Eli L. Stoltzfus who passed away in 2002. A homemaker and member of the Old Order Amish Church, she also enjoyed piecing quilts.
Katie is survived by four sons: Jesse married to Sylvia Stoltzfus, Quarryville, Daniel married to Mary Stoltzfus, Addison, NY, Ephraim married to Sadie Stoltzfus, Honey Brook, Samuel married to Susie Stoltzfus, Paradise with whom she resided; three daughters, Malinda married to Emanuel Stoltzfus, Leola, Sarah married to Earl Kurtz, Ohio, Mary married to Sylvan Stoltzfus, Cherry Tree, PA; 39 grandchildren; 194 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; 47 step-great-grandchildren; a brother, David of Honey Brook; a sister, Sarah of Kirkwood; step-brother in law, Aaron Ebersol, Honey Brook; step-sisters in law, Lydia Stoltzfus, Ada Stoltzfus, Katie Stoltzfus, all of Honey Brook, and Rachel Stoltzfus of Somerset. She was preceded in death by eight brothers, Gideon, Benuel, Daniel, Amos, Jesse, Stephen, John and Christ; sisters, Malinda, Emma, Mary and Annie.
The Funeral will be Wednesday, Mar. 7, 2018 at 9 a.m. from the home of Elmer S. Fisher, 3302A E. Gordon Rd., Gordonville. Viewing: at the late home till the service. Interment: Beiler's Cemetery, Ronks.
